TESTIMONIALS: WHAT STATES ARE SAYING ABOUT TIGER TEAMS
Connecticut Department of Labor
“Connecticut Department of Labor’s (CTDOL) experience with the Tiger Team initiative began with transparent and honest conversations with U.S. Department of Labor and DOL's vendor partner. After a number of discussions and breakout sessions, the Tiger Team provided funding to CTDOL for two pre-launch ReEmployCT (UI Modernization effort) go-live initiatives. Initiative 1 funding ensured State Information Data Exchange System (SIDES) availability for the period March through June 2022. Without such support, all employer and Third-Party Administrator Unemployment Insurance communication would have been delayed and created a hardship on the employer community, and significant losses for UI program integrity components."
"Initiative 2 established CTDOL’s integrity warehouse and dataflow to ‘prevent and detect’ bad actor unemployment insurance activities for ReEmployCT go-live. This invaluable technology project allowed CTDOL to identify 30,000 bad actor claims within six weeks of go-live and prevented unemployment insurance payments to criminals. As CTDOL and its customers benefit from the two implemented initiatives, we will be preparing for additional Tiger Team concepts and expansions. Without a doubt, a very positive experience and one that provides an amazing 'return on investment'!"

The Delaware Division of Unemployment Insurance
"The Delaware Division of Unemployment Insurance (DUI) partnered with Tiger Teams a year ago and we are more than pleased with the results so far. Tiger Teams proved to be a reasonable investment of time to justify a significant return, and DOL's vendor partner managed the process well while also doing most of the heavy lifting. The solutions provided by Tiger Teams were complimentary to the [UIPL] 23-21 Equity Grant DUI applied for, as it identified gaps in our organization that need to and can be addressed with those funds. Overall, I cannot recommend Tiger Teams enough, and encourage more states to participate in this upcoming year. You will not be disappointed!"
